Wake up pretty girls

Wake up pretty

Sick of waking up and dreading looking in the mirror? We know that feeling! Luckily we have a few tips you can use to help you wake up looking more like sleeping beauty and a little less like Princess Fiona…

Moisturise - First make sure you have not a single scrap of makeup on by cleansing and exfoliating, follow up by rubbing an ice cube all over your face. I know this sounds weird but trust me… it closes your pores tight and if you apply your serum and moisturiser straight after doing this onto the cold wet skin it locks the moisture in, meaning you wake up to a hydrated glowing complexion. I suggest using a Vitamin E oil underneath your moisturiser for the best result, you don’t need to splurge on an expensive brand. If you really want to indulge your skin you can use Olive oil as a moisturiser, massage in and wake up glowing.

Nails - Keep some pure coconut oil handy by your bed so you can massage it into your nails and cuticles before you fall asleep.

Split ends - To treat dry, split ends use vitamin E oil to nourish and condition the ends over night so that you wake up to smooth ends.

Eyes - If you suffer from dark circles and fine lines you can dot a small amount of Almond oil around the delicate eye area with your ring finger to reduce these signs of tiredness.

Soft Hands - Make this handy (pardon the pun) scrub using olive oil and brown sugar to slough away those dead skin cells, follow up by massaging in your favourite hand cream or alternatively vitamin E oil then pop your hands into some soft gloves. This will guarantee super soft hands by morning.

Invest - Treat yourself to a Satin pillow case, they cause less breakages and frizz to hair as there is less friction.

Hair - Using an oil of your choice (I like Coconut/Almond best!) give yourself a 10 minute massage into your hair and scalp, focus on using circular movements on your scalp, this helps with hair growth as well as deeply conditioning your tresses.

Lips - Wake up to kissable lips by using a thin layer of sweet almond oil onto your lips before nodding off.

Feet - Slap on some vaseline or warm olive oil onto your feet, pop on some fluffy socks and leave on over night to treat dry feet.

Eyelashes/Eyebrows - You can nourish and increase growth of the lashes and brows by using castor oil. You can wash out an old mascara and fill it with the oil so you can apply it easily and mess free.

Sweet dreams

Love,
